1st Day:  ROME Half board at the hotel, lunch in a restaurant. Guided tour of the Basilica of St. Peter, the most important temple of Christianity that brings together 2000 years of history and famous works of art such as Michelangelo’s “Pietà”. In the afternoon guided tour to discover the main squares and palaces of the capital: Piazza Barberini with the Tritone Fountain of Bernini and the Palazzo Barberini with the National Gallery of Ancient Art, Via del Quirinale with the churches of S. Carlo alle Quattro Fontane and that of S. Andrea al Quirinale , Trevi Fountain and Piazza S. Ignazio.

2nd Day: ROME Half board at the hotel, lunch in a restaurant. Participation in the Audience of the Holy Father. In the afternoon guided tour of Ancient Rome: the splendid Trajan’s Column, the Fori Imperiali Street, the Arch of Constantine and the Colosseum, the ruins of the Domus Aurea, the churches of the SS. Cosma and Damiano and S. Francesca Romana.

3rd Day: ROME Breakfast at the Hotel, lunch in a restaurant. Guided tour of the Basilica of Santa Maria Maggiore, dedicated to the divine motherhood of Mary, which still preserves intact the mosaic cycle with scenes inspired by episodes of the Old and New Testament. Then we continue with the visit of S. Giovanni in Laterano, the first Christian basilica built in Rome from the emperor Constantine in the fourth century and whose interior was transformed in the seventeenth century by the Borromini in baroque style: you will see the medieval cloister, the baptistery and the Scala Santa.
